Year 3-4 Woolworths futureFERNS 
Netball is modified for this age group 5 v 5 and is played through your Primary school.

Year 3-4 futureFERNS is on Fridays in Term 2 from 3:45pm starting on Friday 3rd May 2024, and finishing Friday 5th July 2024. 

The focus for this age group is learning basic skills in a modified game of 5-a-side, using two-thirds of a Netball court.  Year 3 & 4 Netball is designed to be fast and fun, maximising participation.  
Five players in each team and rotating positions ensures everyone gets an equal chance to develop their skills.

Please Note:

Due to the tight time constraints we have of 45 minutes per round at the Stadium, coaches are advised that there is no time allocated to warm up their teams within the 45 minutes. It is recommended that coaches arrange for their players to arrive 15-20 minutes before their round begins to ensure a proper warm up can be held. There is room to warm up in the empty third of each court that is being used. Originally a skill/activity was planned to occur during the 45 minutes as well, but it has become obvious that the timeframe will not accommodate this.  Please also note that players for the first round may not enter the stadium until 3.30.
